It’s time for our annual contest to find our strongest Oktoberfest drinkers! This year, our beer of choice is Austria’s very own Stiegl Herbstgold.Here are the details:Contest for both men and women.
Will limit to first 12 guests for each contest, but if one class doesn’t fill up, we’ll allow up to 24 total competitors.
Cost is $15, which includes your 1 Liter stein to keep, as well as the first fill of Herbstgold (right after the competition…don’t want you to get thirsty and give up!). Watching and cheering is of course free!
We’ll have a Stiegl prize pack as well as Orange & Brew gift cards for the winners. Plus, of course, bragging rights for the next year!We’ll start accepting entries at 5 p.m., contests begin at 6 p.m. And of course, Illini vs. Eastern Illinois football opener is at 8 p.m. if you’d like to make a night of it!
