It’s our Illini Watch Zone “Sideline Pass” reward program!
As an official Chicago Illini Club Watch Zone, we love to welcome all Illini and college sports fans to the shop for gameday! Now we’re ready to give a little extra thanks to our guests who make us their Illini home during the football and men’s basketball seasons. And this is in addition, of course, to our usual specials of a buck off all full-sized draft beer, cans of beer, cider, and seltzer for here, and glasses of wine…plus 60-oz pitchers of select craft beer during games.
This fall we’re beginning the program with an Illini football punch card. Come in and grab a card, and get it punched with our exclusive “block I” hole punch each time you visit. At the end of the season we’ll have prizes for those who turn their cards in. Those with the most punches will be entered into a drawing for VIP seating at any Illini post-season Bowl games as well as Illini vs. UConn basketball tickets at the United Center.
Other prizes will include gift cards, NIL merch, and other fun Illini prizes. No matter the number of games you come visit us, turn your card in for a chance to win something. The more punches you get, the more chances you get to win!
And for those of our guests who go to games in person, we’ll give you credit for those! When you swing in, maybe for that road game you’re going to watch at the shop, show us a photo of you at any other games and we’ll give you a punch for them!
Here are the disclaimers – no purchase necessary, no specific time limits to be in…just show your card between kickoff and the final whistle. Punches are applicable for games that are on TV while we’re open (never has been an issue before, but just in case), and more specifically for games that we can show at the shop. Most are available to us on TV, but in this world of multiple streaming options for NCAA sports, and licensing for bars and restaurants, we want to cover this. If that happens, and we can’t show the game, we’ll give you a punch for that game regardless. And we’ll always confirm when games are on via our website and social media.
