Time to harvest our collaboration beer with our friends at Pollyanna!
We’ll be tapping our first keg, as well as a one-off cask ale version of this West Coast crusher made with Mosaic and Cryo Pop hops. Cryo Pop is an experimental hop blend that we thought perfect for a beer inspired by the name of the oldest experimental crop field in America. Illini grads and those who’ve visited the University of Illinois may recognize the name, and maybe some of the silhouettes on the label.
In addition to draft, we’ll have cans available to take home.
Special thanks to all our entrants in our annual naming contest, including Ryan Jansky, Dave Lockhart, and Steve Stark. The winning name, as voted on by you, came from Bill Nauss from the Midwest Brew Review.
